Dibenzyline medication is used in the management of high blood pressure and profuse sweating due to pheochromocytoma. It contains Phenoxybenzamine as its main ingredient that belongs to a class of drugs known as alpha blockers. It functions by calming and broadening blood vessels so that blood can flow effortlessly.
Dibenzyline 10mg may also be used with other drugs to treat circulatory and vascular problems like Raynaud's syndrome and urination related problems like neurogenic bladder or partial prostatic obstruction.
The dose of Generic Phenoxybenzamine 10mg should be adjusted to fit the requirements of each patient. Start with a small dose and then increase the dose gradually to get the desired results i.e., low blood pressure with minimum side-effects.
Take 10mg of Dibenzyline two times a day in the beginning of the treatment. Increase the dose gradually, usually to 20 to 40 mg 2 or 3 times a day. It should be continued until the optimal dosage is attained.
There are many situations in which the use of Dibenzyline is not suggested like:-
- Do not use this medication, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding mother as it can lead to unwanted effects.
- Intake of drugs that can lower blood pressure is not suggested with this drug as it can lead to unwanted effects.
- Do not take this medication, if you are allergic to its active component Phenoxybenzamine as it can lead to severe allergic reactions.
- Take this medication with care if you have any respiratory problem, are above 65 years old, recent history of stroke or any serious cardiovascular disorder and liver disorder.
Drug Interactions of Dibenzyline are:-
- Epinephrine as severe low blood pressure may take place.
- Levarterenol or Reserpine as their efficacy may be reduced by Dibenzyline.
Dibenzyline blood pressure medication is available online in standard dose of 10mg. It is to be taken orally with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without meals. High blood pressure generally has no indications. You may need to use blood pressure drug for the rest of your life. It can also be taken in combination with other drugs to treat Hypertension.
Store this medication properly at room temperature. Keep it away from the reach of children.

Safety measures:-
- If you need surgical procedure, tell the doctor in that you are using this medication. You may need to stop using the drug for a short time.
- This medication may lead to very low blood pressure. Therefore, you may suffer from problems of diarrhea and weakness.
- Keep using this drug as intended for, even if you feel fine.
- Check your blood pressure regularly while taking this medication.
